The Future I Envision for My Children

As mothers, all we want is the best for our children. We want them to excel in any and everything they do.

It’s my job to make sure that happens. I envision certain things for them based on their personalities and talents.

José

José is mature enough to have made his own plan for himself. Luckily that coincides with what I envision for him lol 😂. He plans on wrestling all throughout high school. He’s really good at it. Even though he’s going on his 2nd year, he has far exceeded our expectations. Hopefully, his talent will get him a scholarship to Ohio State or Penn State, which are the schools of his choice. His career of choice is engineering.  According to his plan, José wants to make it on the USA Olympic wrestling team and go as far as he can go. I love the fact that his backup plan is engineering because wrestling is not something you can really make a life long career out of. I’m so proud of him. Here’s a video of him wrestling:

Jailani

Jailani is the sensitive artistic type. She’s also very smart. Jailani loves to read, write stories, draw, color, you name it.I see her excelling all throughout her school years and getting a job traveling the world studying art.

Jia

Jia is still a baby so it’s still too soon to tell what she’ll be doing in the future. She’s such a happy baby who loves to laugh. What I do know is that whatever she chooses to do in the future will be something that she enjoys and makes her happy.

  1. One of the best parts of parenting is watching your kids become the people they were meant to be. When my daughter was five, she told me “I’m.going to be a doctor who flies around the world to give sick kids their shots and my husband will be a doctor who takes care of the grownups.” She’ll be graduating from college next spring with a degree in Neuroscience.

  2. It sounds like your children have great futures ahead of them! Jailani reminds me of myself as a child. The world of art and design is a really amazing one, so if that is the path she chooses, I know she will love it. Good luck to all of your children.
