A Letter to My Husband

Dear Anthony,

Good morning, Amor Mio! Today is August 9th, the 2nd year of our wedding anniversary. If only we could relive that day again. It was one of the best days of my life. Most of our family and friends traveled from far to see us unite in holy matrimony.

You looked so handsome standing there  in your tuxedo watching me walk down the aisle with my parents. That look of pride you had is one I’ll never forget.

I have to admit, at that very moment, I was a nervous wreck and was trying not to cry from how happy I was . We both know that there were times when we didn’t see that day ever happening, but our love did conquer all.

August 9, 2014, was so perfect. It couldn’t have gone any better than it did. It was all about you and me. Nothing else in the world mattered. That’s exactly how I felt when we were announced as husband and wife and had our 1st kiss as a married couple.

I have never experienced so much joy and happiness in one day. I know for a fact, the kids felt it too. They were so happy and enjoyed themselves with us. It was a day of fun to be had together as a family.

Our wedding day was amazing and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Even though it has only been 2 years of married life, they have been the greatest ones. We’ve had our ups and downs, trying times and good times, but we’ve managed to make it work. For all of that, I’m more than grateful. I love you so much. The only words I can express to show you how much is,”’till death do is part.” ❤ Happy anniversary, my love!

Yours Always,

Miriam
